Expert Panel Hosts: Gabriel Cousens, Joel Fuhrman, Brenda Davis, Hans Diehl, Brian Clement

•Gabriel Cousens – offers an innovative approach to the prevention and healing of what Dr. Gabriel Cousens calls chronic diabetes degenerative syndrome. A leading medical authority in the world of live-food nutrition, Dr. Cousens exposes the dangers of excess glucose and fructose as the key causes of this seemingly unstoppable epidemic that affects more than twenty-five million Americans and 347 million people worldwide. Cousens presents a plan that focuses on a moderate¬-low complex carbohydrate, live food, plant-source-only diet that reverses diabetes to a physiology of health and well-being by resetting the genetic expression of a person’s DNA.

•Joel Fuhrman – At last, a breakthrough program to combat the rising diabetes epidemic and help millions of diabetics, as well as those suffering with high blood pressure and heart disease. Joel Fuhrman, M.D. Research director of the Nutritional Research Foundation, shows you how to live a long, healthy, and happy life—disease free. He offers a complete health transformation, starting with a diet with a high nutrient-per-calorie ratio that can be adapted for individual needs. Dr. Fuhrman makes clear that we don’t have to “control” diabetes. Patients can choose to follow better nutritional guidelines that will control it for them, even before they have lost excess weight. The end result is a medical breakthrough—a comprehensive reversal of the disease.

•Brenda Davis – offers real hope and real solutions to those with type-2 diabetes. Recent health studies have confirmed that a low-fat, vegan (meat- and dairy-free) diet works best to not only manage but reverse the symptoms of type-2 diabetes. Brenda guides you through the practical steps you need to take to construct a diet and lifestyle that really work.
Hans Diehl – shows in case after case, that health derelicts can become dynamos by simplifying their diet, eating unrefined foods, using natural remedies such as hot and cold water treatments, and exercising. Through powerfully motivating stories of changed lives Hans Diehl conveys the rules for vibrant health, as well as how to shed bitterness, find new peace of mind, and recover a close connection with God.

Brian Clement – Hippocrates Institute director Brian Clement shows how the Hippocrates LifeForce program implements the use of raw living foods to help people maintain a healthful weight and stimulate natural immune defenses against other chronic illnesses. Discover how to develop the positive frame of mind that supports good health, learn how to make the transition to eating raw living foods at home, while dining out, and when traveling.

so the first question is we called this panel the cause and solution for diabetes but when I read your books when I read um the end of diabetes and there is a cure for diabetes and I’ve looked at Brenda and Hans Brian’s books as well um it seems like there’s really not one diet for diabetes and then a different diabetes for all other diseases so would it be fair should we change the name of this panel or is there really a very specific protocol for diabetes or would you say the protocol for diabetes actually would be appropriate for other health issues

you know when I took uh a my nutrition courses at lomalinda a few years ago we had the textbook that was this thick of how to take care of the various diseases and there was a different diet with a different emphasis on just about every disease and gradually in the 1980s and ’90s there was a a movement uh there was a unitary dietary concept that was emerging that if you can take care of heart heart disease uh you may find that people that have heart disease and diabetes and hypertension and are overweight they improve on all these areas and this was sort of the beginning of the unitary concept that there is a therapeutic diet that is not just helping one disease but that has multiple applications and so I think that’s where we are today uh and that simplifies everything and it makes um it much easier for dietitians I think to to uh be more effective by moving towards one dietary concept that’s interesting cuz that was in is this on

go ahead uh in uh 1999 the unified dietary guidelines actually came out and it was I think the American Heart Association the American dietetic Association the American Pediatric associ there were five American Cancer Society and and the overarching theme of that entire unified dietary guidelines was uh and this was Dr deckel bomb who said it and he said exactly what Steve just said there is not one diet to cure diab or to treat diabetes and another to treat cancer and another to treat a heart disease one diet cuts across all of these categories and that diet is a more plant-based diet and this was in 1999 and these were the most mainstream health organizations in America so we’ve known this for a long time

I guess I guess uh we’ve done clinical research to prove that since 1956 uh we weren’t uh well endowed enough to know that you should give different diets to different people so we picked one good diet and of course in 1950s 1960s 1970s and a little bit in the 80s the only people that would come to us are people who are seriously ill and nobody else would ever think of changing unless they were facing something eminent and so we have seen in a clinical setting uh with our medical team collecting uh blood profiles and blood samples during the person’s stay at the beginning the end of their stay and then of course for the rest of a person’s life once they graduate from hypocrates uh Gratis for free our medical team evaluates their blood test when they send them back in so we’re acre all of this data

now there’s Nuance as you heard G griel speak last there’s Nuance in what you would do with diabetes versus what you may do with somebody suffering from a sore toe but overall what you’ve just said is actually true that if you get away the nonsense uh the polluters and you put the builders into the body and you’re eating it in the organic state where you’re not adding extra chemistry to it it’s going to help the immune system you know the problem is the human mind is not not really that endowed with intelligence so what we do is we specialize you know we compartmentalize and we specialize the body doesn’t think like that it says I have one need and the need is to be nourished with high nutrients low calories and that’s the plant-based diet

okay I want to what do we all have to comment well no but I’m going to comment um as it’s evolved this is nothing new Under the Sun and so the diet that we’re talking about which is a vegan diet but at least in my world a healing diet is is close to 100% live food because there are certain properties to it that really enhance the healing is part of it and 80% at least as an overall kind of Maintenance so I I do make a little distinction and this is a little what Brian’s saying about the Nuance um between a healing diet and a maintenance diet so we we kind of start there for a little bit

then we also have an issue that even though in my experience 99% of the people are can be successful on a vegan live food diet so we’ll start there there are genetic variations we have 20 to 30,000 genes and there’s newer research the whole field called Neutra genomics which actually says in chromosome 19 being a little bit more specific it gives us the programs of whether how much carbohydrate how much protein and how much fat we need to have now people have known that there are variations according to your Constitution for thousands of years the ortic system talks about that so in the context of saying a plant-based diet we’re all going to be in agreement okay that’s fine and most of us about the live food we’re going to be in agreement

and then according to our constitution we have to organize it or at least the research I’m talking about so that we can optimize our energy production on an intra cellular level called ATP it’s not a Native American thing ATP we’re talking about Adent triphosphate and so you need to eat in a way that will maximize your production of ATP and different combinations make a difference what I have found is for in general uh carbohydrate 25 to 45% protein 10 to 20% and um fat 25 to 45% is a a pretty wide range we’re talking about live raw plant-based food that according to Constitution people then can adjust to optimize the way they are genetically programmed to utilize energy and that’s a cleansing diet and it also goes for a maintenance that but cleansing is a little bit different and but just a little bit differ in terms of how you Nuance it

in terms of diabetes I will use less of the carbohydrate um in terms of the healing and in my track record of doing this for 40 years it’s I’m I kind of come up to a certain um way where I’ve seen that the less carbohydrates people have the sooner their blood sugars are going to go down and they’re leptin and Insulin uh resistance will fade away so there are nuances but generally we all talking the same thing

I I wonder if can we raise some questions uh among ourselves here on the panel is that uh part of yeah um I’m here as a as a student myself and U I have been very interested in your chromosome 19 concept this is something new to me and I wondered if you could help me to understand this better because apparently there are some uh decisions that are being made according to this chromosome 19 in terms of how you design the diet for different people is that correct

yes well really for thousands of years we’re going to talk about people kind of looked at the clinical diet that best worked for them from orotic we talk about aafa p and vaata diets and people according to their constitution picked the diet that was best going to help them function um so that’s kind of a the key thing so it’s not exactly a new concept as we’ve gotten more sophisticated research has come out and this new field is beginning to arise neutrogenia which is now beginning to trace our dietary program as programmed by the particular chromosome now other people when we talk about fil oxidizes they’re talking about the DNA and the mitochondria and that’s uh inherited from the mother are you testing for that yeah I’m not doing DNA testing no but we we do certainly kind of clinical testing uh to help people optimize the right combination

interesting and what what are your what are the parameters you’re looking at for this when you say parameters so oh okay so clinically the parameters are how do you feel when you eat it how long is your energy sustained so what we what I for an example uh a people person needs a higher protein diet they often drop out of the low protein High complex carbohydrate thing oh no I have to go back to meat all they’re saying is I need more protein they get confused you know so we give more protein and suddenly their minds are functioning better the bodies are functioning better and that’s a a criteria it’s more of a clinical criteria but it’s a big one an a doal you know it’s so we don’t have number parameters that we look at because I’d be interested in this myself is is there a testing that we can do yeah yeah so why don’t why don’t we why don’t we I like to do that you know you should do I’ll do some and we could work together on that

the the testing that at least I’m talking about our kind of interviews and and and so forth when Dr walal worked with the slow and fast oxidizer diet you know 20 years ago he had a 5,000 question year of 5,000 okay we have it down to 30 okay how and you know are you are you more drawn to vegetables are you more drawn to protein then how sustainable so if you’re for example if you’re what we call a person that’s a higher protein person you’re just going to have vegetables you you you’re going to get hungry in two hours I’m a slow exerc I can go all day I can have a you know a salad and go for hours and hours well that’s a different metabolism intracellular and so that’s all been kind of worked out but it’s clinical it’s not it’s not the same thing as is there a biochemical test I don’t think there really is at that at a practical level all right that’s good

yeah okay so let’s take a look at what America thinks I’m looking at amazon.com at the bestselling books to see if any of your books are in the top 10 and it turns out none of you have a book according to the diet and weight loss section the top 10 but the number three book is the unbelievably low carb high fat cookbook um the number six book is grain Brain the surprising truth about we carbs and sugar and that promotes a diet if you look in the back of beef and chicken and fish and dairy um the slow cooker recipes 30 oh no I’m sorry famous dishes made low carb your favorite lowfat low carb cooking recipes so despite the reality when you hear and you guys saying lots of things the the main question while America understands that cigarettes are not good and they understand that drunk driving is not good if you go some where in the country and you say that you recommend a plant-based diet that is even though it might seem like the norm among your friends and your colleagues in America that is not does not seem to be accepted so my question to you is why do you think that animal products should not be eaten why do you think animal products are not the appropriate diet and that this is not something that we should be eating and I guess we’re talking to my mother my father and everyone who’s going to watch this not just the Believers who you know the people who saw the Time magazine that said butter is back

well I’ll I’ll kick that off I I think you know U when you look at the overwhelming Lobby from the meat and dairy industry and the government support worldwide it’s sort of evident why that’s what people think about when I was educated a long time ago as a little boy I was literally intimidated into believing that if I didn’t eat meat I would die of protein starvation I was actually told in class as a youngster I would die I was also in the same breath told that if I didn’t drink milk my bones would crumble so this is a pretty good marketing Ploy I would say uh then I went on to higher education and took n nutrition courses and at graduate levels and they’re teaching the same thing by the way they’re teaching the same exact thing at graduate levels at the top univ not that I went to the top universities but I’ve read the top universities manuals and workbooks so that’s a great marketing Ploy and then when you get somebody in a habit of doing a particular thing long enough that we think it’s normal um Hitler said it extremely well he said if you keep saying telling a lie eventually people are going to believe it’s a truth and I believe this is a lie and how I can say that is personally what happened to me and the hundreds of thousands of people I’ve worked with for 44 years what’s happened to them

uh this conference is an environmental and health conference with the truth tellers of the world coming here to speak every single person will tell you why they believe a plant-based diet is good and many of these people not Health authorities they’re environmental scientists and if it’s bad for your body and the ripple effect is it destroys the planet Earth that we live on and that every single creature on Earth Eats 100% raw diet except the animals we’ve domesticated and if in fact we take 50 acres of land to produce one steer there’s nothing right about it other than they make enormous amounts of money now when I did my research for my book Dairy deception I was looking at the latest data that in the United States alone government subsidies of the meat industry have prevented you from paying what you should pay for one pound of stake one pound of stake now would be between $30 and $35 if your government in this country didn’t subsidize it I would assure you that as brainwashed as we are as often as you see this an advertisement as addicted as you are to consuming and dery very few of us would if it was $35 a pound

um I’m you know I’m a vegan dietitian so I have a bias uh but I’ll tell you uh if you look at the research it is so clear as a matter of fact it’s so clear that in our 20 2015 dietary guidelines the advisory committee made the strongest statement uh that they’ve ever made in terms of people should be eating less meat they should be eating more plant-based diets uh there is a very strong connection between uh meat consumption and heart disease cancer diabetes we’ve got all kinds of metaanalyses to that effect uh so there’s there’s no what is it in in meat uh it’s new 5gc which is a pro-inflammatory compound it’s heterocyclic amines that are formed when you cook it it’s persistent organic pollutants uh in the environment it’s you know it’s there are all kinds of things in meat it’s the hormones and antibiotics that are used there are all kinds of things that are problematic but to me it is the big picture that and I think Brian said it well we are slaughtering 70 billion animals on this planet every year for food and that’s just land animals we we’ve got 7.5 billion people on this planet you know Paleolithic times there were maybe a a million to six million people everybody lived Hunter gather sort of Lifestyle if everybody on this planet were to do that today we would need about 15 Planet Earths to sustain this population and what we have got to start to recognize is that we’ve got to start living in a way that will accommodate all life on this planet Not Just Me Myself and I which is unfortunately what’s happening with the Paleo movement and all of these movements that are promoting huge meat consumption this is not a good thing for us and it is not a good thing thing for the animals and it sure as heck is not a good thing for this planet we have finite resources so we we’ve got to look Beyond ourselves

yeah I just want am I on right now no is this working now it is thank you I just wanted to add that there’s at least a thousand well-designed studies that demonstrate that eating more animal products in your diet increased the risk of heart disease and stroke and cancer and obesity and diabetes for that matter too and I don’t think it’s controversial in the scientific um world I don’t think it is a controversy and I think that what you said that the bestselling books I used to tell people that if a book is a really best-selling book then you know you can disregard it because because right what people they buy books what they want to do they have nothing to do with the validity of the book but then I unfortunately managed to have a best-selling book so I had I couldn’t say that anymore but I didn’t really bright it but look I don’t you know so you know we and we know that Americans are eating a huge amount of animal products and maybe in you know we could still be healthy eating a small amount if we ate you know some salamanders snakes worms you know in our in more you know roaches crickets maybe little crickets um a small amount of flavor of your vegetables just a tiny bit but the point is that the huge amount of animal products Americans eat aren’t good for anybody’s constituency in any genetic anyone’s genetics if you because they it’s not an when that’s been already well tested it’s whether your eye type your blood type your genetic genome whatever type them your mother’s name made name spelled backwards whatever it is the fact is is that in all types of people as animal products go up in a person’s diet as a percent of total calories so does disease rates and you can’t deny that we have to be realistic and all of us don’t want to have a premature death and don’t want to have cancer and the idea that we can live without fear and fear is a tremendous disease factor in disease causation and the average American out there is is a is how could we say this has a relationship with with their doctor that’s unsavory they have a in other words they they’re they’re addicted to Physicians they’ve got to be tested and and they’re always in fear and they’re always under stress either being radiated or biopsi or something’s happening to them and it doesn’t have to be that way because we really should be able to live our lives in peace and in emotional peace knowing that our body is designed to be well and stay well and we don’t have to be sick and we don’t have to be fearful of getting some horrible disease either and that’s so freeing for people and so it’s so your parents are really the insane ones even though we’re the ones that people consider insane because we’re not the majority but it’s and they can actually there’s a um how should we say a movement to classify people into healthy eating as being quote some diagnosis like orthorexia or something right there’s something wrong with wanting to be healthy and not wanting to have cancer in your life right exct and then the reality is it’s everybody in America’s CRA is a food addict has irrational thought processes to maintain their food addictions and are are heavily addicted to the a diet that’s killing them all and people who Advocate and live by live in accordance with biological laws which govern human existence that enable us to live a life free of disease we’re seen as The Crazy Ones right it’s a really strange world we live in today

so I thank you it was good um in a I take the approach of what I call Holistic veganism which we’re all touching on already and we look at a lot of factors because the question I raised with diet and I’m going to bring the word Holiness in is is is are we living in a way that sanctifies all life on the planet are we eating in a way that uplifts the web of life on the planet it’s very clear that a meat-based diet doesn’t do this okay uh a plant-based diet is obviously best for our health that’s really is is clear okay it’s also best for feeding people literally if the whole world vegan instead of 20 to 40 million people starving to death each year and 15 million kids starving to death each year and 42,000 kids a day starving to death there’ be enough food to feed the planet seven times over that’s a pretty fundamental issue feed the poor feed the hungry preserve life Brenda’s talked about 70 billion animals being killed that’s a lot of blood okay then we talk about resources air and water and land are uh drastically being used up by Meat centered diet the uh a vegan has about 300 gallons of water a day a meteor 4,500 gallons well there a pretty big difference 9 to 10 times more um and that has to do with that a vegan diet is much less water uh uh intensive G Gabriel repeat that clearly for our viewers from California yeah we need it so we’ll talk about water intensive and please don’t think it’s just California the whole world is running out of water Sano and Brazil is due to run out the whole city 12 million people is due to run out of water water this year okay this is not just a California problem but clearly it would help if we went to a vegan diet because we would be saving a a vegan literally saves 1.5 million gallons a year that’s a whole swimming pool not bad and in terms of land the animals are using about at least a third of the arable land that’s a lot of land where a vegan type of of diet is is is maybe 6% 8% of the land so we have land we have water okay those are big issues what about spiritual life all the great Traditions but perhaps one emphasize a vegan diet Genesis 129 makes it very clear I’ve given you every seed bearing plant of the field and every tree that is a uh seed bearing fruit for you to eat didn’t say eat animals actually didn’t say that now people kind of stretch it and move away from it but the message is there and that’s true in the dosm it’s true in the Hindu tradition it’s true in the Buddhist tradition okay so what’s going on is is is that we’ve been given the best diet for spiritual life and we look the other way

so these are the issues that we’re we’re facing okay in in terms of the World Resources in terms of the human resources in terms of Cruelty the animals AA very important principle Do no harm do the minimum amount of harm well a vegan diet does the minimum amount of harm we still need to live on the planet okay and plants can have feelings and so forth but still we minimum compared to the amount of death and destruction with with that so all these things are happening now we have additional problems is the animal place based PL uh diet better for you in a world of pollution you bet 96% of pesticides and herbicides and I’m going to say radiation here have to do with higher up in the food chain so the research suggest that 96% of all the pesticides and herbicides coming from a meat B diet mother’s milk a vegan has 1% it’s actually vegetarian even 1% amount of pesticides and herbicides and now will add radiation in her milk as compared to a meat eating woman that’s pretty significant so if we’re going to deal with radiation pesticides herbicides which are up to 30 times more concentrated in the animal world then obviously for the preservation of of the species which is where I’m going with this the vegan diet is what’s needed uh and I don’t think we’re alone we’re not quite the minority that his parents may think we honor your parents but the the UN commission and the European commission are both saying we need for the preservation of the planet we need to move towards a vegan diet that’s what they’re saying publicly the UN commission and and the European Commission in in uh 2010 actually said that for the preservation of the planet because it’s the obvious thing even talk about health it’s the obvious thing that’s what we’re talking about we need to move towards a vegan diet so it’s all there it’s all happening and actually the world doesn’t have any choice now so it’s it’s yeah we can beet we’re debating there is no choice in a few more years it’ll be more and more obvious that the vegan diet is what’s needed for the preservation of the species and the preservation of The Living Planet

yeah so if I can just summarize what we have said here we want to adopt a plant-based diet for health reasons for planetary survival that’s ecology and for ethical reasons too don’t we and spiritual that’s a good point yeah um the other thing is um uh yeah we are I think all in favor of moving towards plant-based diet especially when you brought up the idea that we kill one million animals in this country per hour I it’s an enormous Slaughter and uh you know people that are um um they have a sensitivity towards animals they would tell you that if slaughter houses would be made out of glass walls everybody would become automatically a vegetarian so I mean that’s one area the other area is you talked about the ranking of books right and while the ranking can be um reflective of the quality of uh a book uh on the other hand it also reflects the marketing genius and The Branding that a publisher brings to the task the powers that I mean you have a book uh uh called U Been Around for 25 years how to eat according to your blood type see I was saying the opposite though I wasn’t saying I I wasn’t saying that the ranking of the book reflects the quality of the book I was saying generally the the ranking of the book reflects the fact that it’s poor quality the higher rank books telling people what they want to hear what they want to buy because the masses are eating so unhealthy they’ll prop up the books that are that correspond with what they want to eat that was my point yeah that’s why you have a book like eat according to your blood type is still around after 25 years I mean there is no scientific value to that book and yet it’s still up there and it seems that the crazier an idea really is the more people seem to flock to it this must be the answer right I mean I’m planning to write a book right now right along the same lines how to eat according to your shoe size be a big seller I’m sure say be a Sho exactly you measure the foot and that’s the diet no I’m glad we all have a sense of humor that’s that’s the plant-based diet that so I’m actually suggesting we should call it a plantbased diet yes yes yes yes yes yes

other point I wanted to make is we talked about plant-based i’ like to expand it just a little bit more because we’re all committed to that and that has to do with we want to perhaps enlarge the term to Foods as grown so that we or Whole Foods so we also recognize it’s not just a matter of moving towards a plant-based diet but you also should be concerned about the processed food yes portion which is now really gaining more and more ground and I’m very very concerned about especially when you showed some of the distribution of where that about over 50% of the calories we eat today comes from processed foods and it’s BAS basically food that is it has been characterized by hyper palatability it tastes great to the people in general and that’s what is driving this thing how many of you know the term hyper palatability that’s where commercial food companies globally literally put addictive substances beyond the sugar fat and salt into the food to get you your friends your family your children addicted permanently to that product and I wouldn’t doubt uh I’m not positive of this because I watched the health food companies that supported genetically modified not labeling that maybe some of these are slipping into the health food chain at this point too so go on with your well Brian is talking about is opioids yes and there’s opioid formulas that make people addicted their particular brand let’s be it’s very specific so they addict you to The Taste and that opioid combination and do you know told this that or at least told me that is a former head of the Food and Drug Administration Dr David Kesler I was stunned when he told this to me because he was on the other side and he watched it and his biggest concern now rightfully is childhood obesity if you think we’re sick today you wait you wait until these kids get to be 20 and 30 years old

for the people who say um I’m actually very healthy I don’t eat beef and I don’t eat chicken um I basically live on fish so what’s wrong with that is that okay or is there well I’ll kick off with my book killer fish that’s good I know I I I couldn’t believe that up until five years ago nobody had actually championed uh the issue on fish and so I think why I write books quite often is I really have to learn a lot about the subject and of course I’m just uh cocky enough to think I know a lot about something so I put the title down and then I research it I was overwhelmingly stunned at how much worse it was than I thought I had the privilege to interview uh out of the seven top marine biologists oceanographic scientists on Earth three of them every one of them told me that every drop of drinking water on the earth now has pharmaceutical drugs in it and I went as far as saying you mean in the North Pole and South Pole where people don’t live and they said yes all three definitively yes because of rain plastic plastic is in every drop of water today and uh there is a giant land dump for the listeners in the room and around the world that’s larger than the state of California made of plastic that’s floating in the middle of the Pacific Ocean that for two decades ships going from Asia to the western part of North America literally have to go around it na navate around it

um fish were never meant to be eaten by a human being let’s start with the biology let’s imagine we had a pristine planet and that we didn’t pollute and the Industrial Revolution didn’t occur when you take a fish out of the water within 20 to 30 minutes the fats in it and by the way there’s animal saturated fat it’s not all Omega oils in it turn rancid and become something that we call a lipid peroxide we’ve known for 60 solid years in science that lipid peroxides are carcinogens so every bit of fish if it was as clean as a whistle within 20 to 30 minutes when you remove it from its environment picture you being in the water for 20 or 30 minutes what you’d be like well it’s see exact reversal with the fish the oxidation occurs and this becomes a carcinogen I quoted the largest study ever done on fish and fish oil consumption in Finland with over 600,000 people where literally they show that people had double the heart attacks and strokes who ate more fish and more fish oil double and you’re being told by the alternative medical uh culture that fish oil is great to reverse cardiovascular disease uh there’s an international organization on lipids on fats they basically tell you not to eat fish or take fish oil these this is the authorative voice of lipids and fats on the planet that have Congress and get together and do the latest research and exchange empirical evidence they’re telling you not to take fish oil so I mean you ask how meat and dairy becomes popular well the same with Fish And you know most people want to compromise they don’t want to change today and we are at a point where there’s no time for compromise we’re at the edge of a cliff and we’re about ready to fall off as individuals and as a Humanity as a human race we’ve got to get back to normality now and fish is not normality just because you think you’re brave you gave up hamburgers and chicken fish doesn’t make you Brave I would actually purport to you that fish is more disease-causing than even red meat chicken is certainly more disease-causing than red meat look at the work of my former colleague Virginia Livingston who for over 50 years showed you there were viruses in the chicken even after cooking that trans into the human body cells mutated them and created all forms of cancer so as Dr Ferman basically pointed out there’s this thousand incredibly perfect studies when he says empirically correct studies these are studies that if you took anti- plant-based eating researchers and you said show me where there’s a flaw in this study there’s a thousand studies they can’t see flaws in there’s tens of thousands of studies that allude to what we’re talking about now we’re directly stated so I don’t know why we even have to have this discussion it’s a little bit silly as far as I’m concerned at this point in 2015

and I I think it’s worth knowing that some of the leading experts in the world have estimated that Global fish stocks will be gone by 2048 that’s right um and and so people are fish farming like crazy uh and of course farmed fish are much more polluted than than I mean fish are only as clean as the water they’re swimming in of course um and what they’re fed exactly and so there’s there’s just I it it it’s very very concerning when you think about these things because we’re we’re basically all of our mainstream B organizations for nutrition are saying two at least two servings of fish a week and if if more and more people start doing that you know the the fish dogs will be gone sooner and sooner I mean we’re we’re they’re not their days are numbered uh to start with so it doesn’t make sense for us to be promoting fish on a sort of global level with what we know and fish are you know more and more polluted the larger fish the higher up on the food chain you go uh the more polluted they are they are the number one source of dioxins they are the number one source of heavy metals in the diet

so there are a lot of problems with with fish consumption as an example the North Sea where they assumed rightfully they assumed that the fish closer to land would be more polluted they find the fish that are 100 to 200 mil offshore are actually more polluted than the ones close to the land this is so pervasive today and let me repeat what you said cuz it’s the most powerful thing that was just stated here that every marine biologist and top scientist every single one can Cur they agree that by 19 uh by 2048 we have fished out the major fish in the ocean now Einstein before his death said after the oceans die we have five years I heard the polar bears like it either I’m sure they’re becoming sterile by the way yeah from all the pollution of the fish they eat that’s true you know I was shocked when somebody asked me the question what about fish that comes from the Atlantic Ocean rather than farm grown fish I said yeah it’s probably a much better idea I had no idea that salmon which we always sort of assumed was coming from from uh wild clean Waters well most of these so-called Atlantic water grown fish are also coming from Fish Farms that are along the Atlantic or border so I mean everything is changing we just changed the vocabulary have some euphamisms and yet U totally unaware of how everything is changing so what he’s just saying is there’s massive fraud and there’s no laws that protect you anywhere in the world that the fish you’re being uh told you’re eating on a menu at a fine restaurant most likely isn’t the fish cor and because codfish is one example now we have prolific amounts of lobster and I didn’t understand why uh when I go to New England and speak or visit uh the poor lobstermen or I feel for them but at the same point I’m happy they’re going out of business and the reason is that these Lobster prices have plummeted down to fractions of what they were and because once the Cod was gone that environmentally took care and weeded out the lobster now the lobsters are just growing like wild uh you’re already seeing the beginning of the collapse of the entire ocean and unless we put the brakes let’s make a real clear Point unless we put the brakes on today and learn to back up fast this is not going to stop there’s no way to stop this unless we stop today and put the the brakes on and go back very fast

sorry assume that someone says I agree no beef no chicken no fish I don’t eat any of it I just have dairy and uh it’s actually organic Dairy there’s that okay yeah so I’ll start with my latest book Dairy deception I was also surprised that none of my colleagues wrote a book on eggs and so I actually added eggs into Dairy because when I was a little boy in the dairy section were eggs they have nothing to do with dairy but they seem to be there now the most unnatural thing that we’ve probably ever been told to do is to drink milk from another creature but my God it’s the most pervasive thing that I ever remember being told we not only were intimidated with education and even higher education tells you that Dairy is a necessity but it’s an absurdity when you think about it the first slide I have in my presentation dery deception is I have a man dressed like me in a suit underneath a cow drinking from its press now if you actually saw now let’s let’s be honest here take a moment if you actually saw a guy dressed in a suit Park his car his BMW on the side of a road and go into the pasture and get under the cow and suck from its breast would you not call the police would this man not get arrested and shouldn’t he get arrested but let’s imagine he didn’t park his BMW and drink from the breast he drove another Mile and went to the supermarket and he bought milk but he cowered inside of his home and drank it without anyone watching it and nobody thinks anything of that uh they did such a good marketing job when I was a boy I was stunned that the only thing I ever got free was milk remember free milk so I was lucky I married a wonderful lady I’m in love with from Sweden I said did you get free milk in Sweden she said absolutely can you imagine this marketing they did and we’re talking a long time ago and by the way our parents generation got it to it’s not only people my age in their 60s it’s people in their 8s got the same then I went to Russia and I asked the question in communist Russia I said did you get free milk and yes in the major cities they got free milk now can you imagine this what other industry do you know that actually got into the schools and literally force fed you milk and then got the teachers through manuals that were written by governments who were in cahoots with the dairy industry your government in the United States last year took your tax dollars and gave $300 million to advertise Dairy with your tax dollars and it’s written in the schoolwork and so little boys and little girls are given this milk told they don’t drink it your government by the way is in bed with Fast Food Industries because what happened is back in the 70s they realized that sodas were becoming more popular than milk and now they made packs and spend hundreds of thousands if not millions of dollars in cahoots with a large L fast food companies so we’ll get you back into drinking milk

now let’s see in the audience here today how many of you actually at one point in your life thought you’d get sick if you didn’t drink milk okay so practical labor you know you have this sort of interesting large group of people called Asians ever hear of them there the majority of people on the planet none of us are Asian here we’re sorry we apologize uh but the reality is that they don’t drink milk in general when they become West I they do who has the highest amount of osteoporosis in the world no it’s not America Finland number one who consumes the most da in the world Finland then you look at the European companies not companies they are companies now excuse me country companies the Germans the austrians the Norwegians the swedes the Danes the higher the dery then the Americans come in next to that uh this is an unthinkable uh amount of propaganda that has has been so absolutely effective I wish I had the marketing genius that they did cuz I’d convert the world to sanity within 2 years it’s nuts

thank you you didn’t mention eggs eggs you forgot to mention eggs let’s talk about eggs people always ask me too what about eggs I know and I tell them I recommend eggs and they’re always very relieved yes and then I say I recommend one one egg every February 29 and even that is too many you probably didn’t get the joke out there there’s no such thing as February 29th well every four years every four years oh yeah well you should say February 30th then I even allow it every four years so this is really surprising I’m out in California a couple of years ago uh I was finishing the book then and there was a woman who actually was part of the largest Dairy company in the world organic Dairy company and I had just made a statement that uh campio bacteria is in 90% of the eggs they tested worldwide they looked at organic eggs they looked here Etc so at the end she politely stood up and said what Brian just said is absolutely correct that our company spent 17 I think 17 or $19 million we sterilized the chicken uh homes everything was perfect we could not get rid of this bacteria and this bacteria does everything from creating paralysis in extreme cases causes death other things about eggs and I want you to experiment with this the listeners and the audience here as well as home get vinegar doesn’t have to be expensive boil vinegar and put an egg in it shell the egg you can actually bounce it it preserves the egg and bounce it like a rubber ball because it has a unique form of combined proteins that coagulate it’s almost like the Protein that’s a sheathing over the human cell but much more intense and dense and this particular protein is not digestible by the human body I’ve been told by U experts who understand animals that the only creature that really truly digests an egg is a fox that somehow through Evolution they developed the enzymatic ability to digest that a human doesn’t have that ability

one egg has about 230 gram of cholesterol your body doesn’t need to eat cholesterol healthy bodies eating plant-based healthy diets in fact raw diets you don’t see this with cooked diets very much but with raw plant-based diets you create the amount of cholesterol you need so some people who are eating healthy diets may have a 220 or 230 cholesterol as Gabriel So wisely pointed out that this is now absolutely connected with people who live long lives when they look at centurians which they did at tus University Back 40 years ago they found that that uniquely these people had very high cholesterols in almost every case and so preservative of the brain but your body has to create that if you eat egg cholesterol or M cholesterol or cheese cholesterol you’re in trouble at chicken cholesterol fish cholesterol yes it once again they have saturated fat and the fish I used to love were the couch potatoes how about you the ones who hung out at the bottom and ate the nonsense in the garbage I like lobster Lobster wasn’t fat enough what did you dip it in butter flounders you ever see a flounder they were actually mutated before they had one eye up the side there you know remember in Jersey we ate flounder all the time come on you admit you used to eat flounder I did I used to go out and catch him I know isn’t that weird and clams can you imagine the clam clam opens up and all the pollutant goes in there we’re like crazy people so eggs eggs are not something you should consider again great marketing eggs went out of style and notice over the last 5 to 10 years they’ve done such great marketing they actually call it the real food so people who don’t know who they are and they’re a little insecure and trying to find the themselves they want to be real so eggs make you real how about that you and I aren’t real so in edible the edible Incredible Egg that’s right isn’t that a great term the edible Incredible Egg the unedible deadly egg is what we should say next next to liver oh that’s EGS eggs has a highest con concentration of cholesterol 200 plus Mig of cholesterol per egg yolk can you imagine that

Gabriel maybe I’ll just add a couple of things um number one that we know that it’s well established that igf-1 is produced by human our body we produce our own igf-1 but that igf1 is driven by animal protein what do you mean by that igf1 can expl that yeah yes it stands for insulin insulin like growth factor one it’s a growth hormone it it helps the child or the baby in the womb grow but as adults when we’re not growing excessive amounts of igf-1 can lead to promote the growth of tissues including cancer and I’m saying that that’s well established in the scientific literature today that excessive amounts of igf-1 can increase the risk of cancers particularly breast cancer MH and prostate breast right and that dairy products and milk Drive igf-1 even more powerfully than other animal products do because it’s designed for the cow to grow so rapidly early in life so for an adults to be drinking dairy products is very very um very risky and actually a major factor in breast cancer

now as far as going through and we know that a lot of people who eat eggs recognize the Yol has more cholesterol throw the Yol away just eat the white but the white concentrates the protein and the protein drives AG igf-1 um so much likewise skim milk is more related to is even more a stronger promoter of prostate cancer than even home milk is because move the fat you concentrate the protein to very high levels and it’s so high in calcium which which inhibits vitamin D absorption but in any case the other issue is that it appears that the cholesterol and eggs have a very powerful effect on Diabetes yes there been about six studies that I’ve reviewed recently and five out of the six show a strong relationship between egg consumption so much so that even any eggs eaten by diabetics in one study double the risk of 20 of death over 20 period so a significant impact of high cholesterol foods on the beta cells in the pancreas and so there’s some almost Toxic effect going on that’s outside of the effect of protein

um lastly one thing I don’t agree with some of some other people on this panel is the idea of our own production of cholesterol I mean I’ve been eating I I call the diet I recommend a nutritarian diet because as you you guys mentioned I um that plant-based doesn’t Define a diet because obviously the sad diet is plant-based there’s only 30% of calories from animal products and most of those plants are processed foods and junk Foods so it’s not really defining enough so I made up another word but in any case Whole Foods say it again I like plant rich I I use the word nutritarian to represent a diet rich in in nutrients but I know narian but I I think the good term might be um nutrient dense plant Rich to accompany what we all believe too you know because plant-based is just too General but nevertheless um what I’m saying right now is that that those of us who’ve been on a nutrient-rich plant-based diet most of our Lives since our childhood do not have high cholesterols we have relatively low cholesterols and populations that are longest lived around the world have very low cholesterols not high cholesterols it’s the longest lived people who reading the America it’s in other words if you have a low cholesterol and a high cholesterol meat-based diet then something’s wrong with you in other words the studies do show that people with low cholesterols have higher risk of disease if they’re on a diet that generates high supposed to generate high cholesterol did you follow that because there’s something wrong with them that represents a different that they have a low cholesterol needing a high cholesterol generating diet but people on a diet style that doesn’t generate cholesterol are not are okay to have low cholesterol levels like I know that Brenda and I both have we both right eating this way from many many many years and we both have relatively low cholesterols what do you what do you consider low and high

well my cholesterol my total cholesterol throughout my life as is brendes is about 130 yeah and my LDL is about 80 about 90 or 85 to9 so I don’t think there’s anything wrong with that wrong I think when when uh Gabriel was speak and I concur with Gabriel on this we’re he’s talking more 190 something like that is low but but you wouldn’t say that people that have who eat plant-based diets long term because I know hundreds of them hundreds and I’ve got the clinical proof of this that have 200 and 230 are unhealthy when they’ve been plant-based eaters for decades some of these people no no I agree with that that that when you push a cholesterol down with drugs you’re just covering up when and if and your cholesterol level if your LDL is let’s say 120 130 140 it’s not the LDL it’s the oxidized LDL that’s at risk and people have very low with remaining a plant-based diet their LD oxidation is so low that their High L DL concentration is not a significant risk factor exactly so we’re agreeing with that but I don’t want people to be fearful of having a cholesterol that’s lower than that either exactly exactly well low is not 130 130 is what most pig have that’s about the I see okay you know when I spent some time in China and this is also verified by Dr Campbell in The China Study uh we saw in the countryside uh total cholesterol numbers of 90 or 100 or 110 120 and when people had 140 they got kind of weak in their legs and I said we probably have a heart attack like the Americans and I said oh no I mean we’re lucky to get it down to 200 right so I I think that you want to as as as as epidemiologists as we look at the international data and we begin to realize that countries with the lowest cholesterol have the lowest rate of chronic diseases it was very difficult to find heart disease in China the cholesterols were very very low and to me I um I was much more aware that when we make comparisons in American society and we say well if you have 180 that’s a low one for America or you have 220 you still don’t have heart disease so it doesn’t make any difference well it does make a difference if you have these levels that are found in societies where you don’t have heart disease and they levels of 100 110 120 much lower than what we usually find in Western Society

you know that makes an interesting point that that when we look at studies they’re done on sickly people they’re sickly overweight eating un and the results are distorted because of that you know the studies can be sh we know studies can be show can show that for example people who have a normal body weight are more unhealthy for example because we’re looking at people that are all overweight and you know so there a lot of things wrong with studies done on a population of eating a people eating a disease causing diet so we have to consider that when we’re looking at those studies

I want to jump in but I want you to do it so talk to us about the cholesterol mythology and what you’ve seen in your work monitoring Gabriel you you well we do need cholesterol to build our hormones we need cholesterol to make our brain work right we need cluster to make our nervous system work right and as unique beings I think there’s going to be a variation and really what some of the research shows between 160 and 260 there’s really no incidence difference in chronic disease I’m talking particularly health and cancer and so for so there’s no difference from 160 to 260s in heart attacks what you’re saying yes that’s they’re also cancer too they’re they’re not making a big difference about it so um where are they looking at the Western population or who are they yes we’re talking about Western primarily okay now it’s really hard for me to talk about China it’s a different world and some of those studies were affected by the people in real poverty which is kind of what Joel’s suggesting so I kind of have to stick to the American and there are some research it shows in Russia um and actually one research in in um the Bronx okay Russia and the Bronx they’re about the same that shows that people with a lower cholesterol actually have more heart attacks so there’s a lot of things going on so it’s it’s hard for me to get as much into the clustal debate I’ve kind of put it aside and saying a little bit what Joel is saying is you know according to your physiology according to who you are you’re going to make the cholesterol that you need we have to kind of give us the unique space to let our bodies work right so what I have observed however which a little bit what you just you said before is like on our diets people’s cholesterol ends up on the the live food diet in about 3 weeks it drops to about 159 but it starts usually higher so my observation this is just an observation clinical observation is that as our body comes in a normal physiology with a live food veganic diet then our body our liver function remember liver makes 80% of your cholesterol U starts to come the normal and you actually make what you need and I think that’s the key concept here

and and the older the the the much older people you work with have you noticed that their cholesterols tend to be higher even on well the the research there’s a very interesting study on 89 year olds okay and they saw them for the next uh you know 10 years of their life 89 and 99 so this group is going to die more quickly and they found that for every 39 points higher in cholesterol they lived 15% longer now that’s really interesting but you can’t manufacture it your body has to want that yeah and the point is somehow with age people with I cholesterol seem to live a little longer of course those are 89 year olds yeah yeah see that’s see let me point out what he’s saying if you’ve made it to 89 and you have high cholesterol you’re not going to die from a heart attack and stroke so this is a very unique group of people this is like a pinpoint study that thing done but nevertheless a higher cholesterol they meant they live 15% longer I don’t think those studies mean mean that having a high cholesterol is beneficial for longevity I think what that study means and how we interpret that and most scientists today is that certain disease processes lower cholesterol and Ault cancers lower cholesterol and certain other types of organ dysfunction lower cholesterol AB so having low having your cholesterol drop when you’re elderly is a sign that you have a more chronic serious disease it’s not that the low cholesterol did dimin it’s that the whatever disease process resulted in the lower cholesterol that’s a good point well that’s a good

I’m going to say one way of looking at it but I think something has to be said at at if you’re 39 points High you know something’s going on with longevity now maybe that conclusion is what you said is totally valid but there I think there’s more than one conclusion to that story if you look at Dr Mayer’s work out of tus University when he was president there he was a nutritionist who became president there he did brilliant work and he same thing he looked at centurions in the New England area the a medium age was 102 and he found out that all of them had you know much higher cholesterols and they that was the early days of us all bashing cholesterol and I do still bash cholesterol so this is an we haven’t come to a conclusion on this yet you know

let me let me let me move on because we don’t know that much time so we’ve been here for Friday Saturday Sunday Monday and Tuesday had unbelievable speakers phenomenal presentations brilliant research it’s absolutely been amazing but there was one thing that one speaker said that was more powerful than anything anyone else said what happened was Helen cicott was talking she spoke twice very nice very you know very intense information but somewhere in towards the end of one of her speeches she just said oh yeah if we have a nuclear war with um Russia what’ll happen is a a you know half hour they send it to us then we send it to here it lands it goes you know five miles down it kills everyone it burns everyone within a 100 miles then it sends wind out and everyone else becomes a human target that goes you know and everyone in 300 mile is burned alive everyone else gets radiation poisoning and it was the most graphic horrifying thing that was like stunning and left an impression on my mind that okay I definitely don’t want nuclear war I get it you don’t have to tell me again she didn’t she didn’t like leave it to you and make it like it’s not that bad if you’re she made it like it’s an allout the most horrific thing ever so I’d like for each of you to wrap up with for the people who you know some people are interested in the cholesterol debate some are not again for people who don’t care about the environment they don’t care about the animals they don’t care about anyone’s philosophy or your philosophy they just want to know for them why it’s such a big deal they dad lived to 78 they have an uncle who lived to 84 why shouldn’t they eat animal products What specifically is going to happen to them what you know what’s going to I know a girl who’s 49 and went blind in one of her eyes it was horrible I didn’t understand that she didn’t understand that she had diabetes so what’s going to happen to people a lot of people are think yeah you’re a vegan I’m not a vegan but what’s the difference it all ends up the same so what are you saying is in it like what you know people are saying if I eat chicken fish beef and dairy what’s going to happen so what is going to happen to people that should make them care in terms of their own health about if they continue eating animal products versus I’d like to hear from each of you

okay I’ll start and we’ll go down the row you will definitely have a much higher chance of Contracting cancer Anam Maria the other day showed you the statistics how they’re growing you will absolutely have more heart attacks and strokes cardiovascular disease you will absolutely have more type 2 diabetes you will absolutely have more propensity to Multiple Sclerosis Parkinson’s disease ALS dementia and every single disorder you’ll have a much higher possibility of Contracting that that’s number one even if you don’t like yourself and you’re totally unconscious as I was at one point in my life we we have most of us have children and we have grandchildren so if you are a self- sabator the one place I may be able to touch you is in the heart for the future Generations uh this lifestyle that you are consuming now thinking it’s perfectly fine and maybe you haven’t yet contracted the disease I assure you you will um let’s at least try to make the planet a livable place for our children and the Next Generation and the last thing I’m going to say to you about this is that everyone has a possibility to gain back their Humanity again and it’s inside of you when you were a little girl and you were born a little boy you were completely passionate and compassionate you loved and all you wanted is love all you wanted to do is share love and slowly but surely life chipped away at you and rather than you standing strong and remembering how you felt that you were capable of anything that you analist potential you became part of the problem and today there are solutions and they’re not always Solutions you would choose I hated the day I became a vgan but I didn’t because intellectually I knew it was right as time passed that’s all I wanted to do so take the first step even if you don’t like yourself enough to do it

the University of Chicago used some baboons in a special experiment they fed these baboons a typical University Hospital diet and after 19 months the baboons died of massive heart attacks when they looked at the heart attack uh results when they looked at the uh the anatomical structures they noticed that the heart attack of the animals were not dissimilar to what you see in human heart attacks so they began to uh highlight the idea that a typical Western diet that is found in hospitals very well is not in your best interest it’s for that reason that in our program we always tell our participant don’t stay at the hospital longer than 19 months it’s a dangerous place you become a baboon but you see the concept here is that there’s a narrowing taking place in the major arteries of the human body and this is the major foundational pathology that leads to many other diseases that Express themselves in different organs for instance if you have this narrowing process called atherosclerosis affecting your coronary arteries then you have to worry about the possibility of a shutting down of the corner vessels and you have a heart attack if it happens to the cerebral vessels in the brain then you have to worry about Strokes you have to worry about tias small Strokes you have to worry about cognitive function loss you have to be thinking about hearing diminishment when it affects the eyes you have small vessels there and when they become narrow narrow down they no longer function as well you have to worry about retinopathies you have to worry about vision loss you have to worry about ma degeneration when it goes down to the level of the kidneys and you have a narrowing of the arteries the kidney vessels then you have to be concerned about high blood pressure if you have the arteries to the spine that feeds the spine with proper oxygenated blood and nutritional rich blood when you shutting them down you diminish their function they’re no longer optimally functioning then you have to worry about a diminishment of the of the um uh the discs that you have spacing the various vertebrae if it goes down further in the male and now you affect the penal arteries and they become narrowed down with the build up of cholesterol and calcium and fats inside then you have to worry about Ed which many people think start with that one which many people think stand for early death it may be when it goes further down to the legs then you have to worry about claudication when it goes further down you have to worry about Garing commonly found in diabetes so what I’m saying is that um diet has a very power effect and for nothing else it affects powerfully the circulatory system you have 60,000 miles perfect health largely depends on perfect circulation you got it

that was pretty graphic um you know there’s an acid test to me and and you look around the world look at the healthiest longest living people on the planet um the blue zones for example there are five known blue zones every single one of them consumes other two dietary things that they do they all consume plant-based diets and they all consume legumes now none of them except a small portion of one of those blue zones is completely vegetarian all of them consume little bits of animal very little bits of animal products so then you might wonder well then why vegan uh and and to me the ethical and the ecological arguments are extr extremely important I think why contribute to pain suffering and death in these these beings that want to live when we don’t have to not only do we not have to it ends up hurting us but there are actually two really important studies that have compared similar healthc conscious nonvegetarians lacto oo vegetarians semi vegetarians pescal vegetarians and vegans and followed them for many years and one is in the UK this is called epic Oxford and the second is in North America and this is called the Adventist Health study 2 and these two studies it’s not just comparing your typical Western eater it’s comparing similar healthc conscious meat eers with similar health conscious vegetarians vegans and so forth and I’ll tell you what they found vegetarians and vegans have a third less heart disease they have 15 to 20% less cancer they have about 50% less kidney disease vegans have 40% less cataracts they they have uh less uh GI disorders vegans have 75% less hypertension vegetarians 55% less hypertension and vegans have about 62% less diabetes so if that doesn’t do it I don’t know what does okay these are very convincing studies and the bottom line is why do this to creatures when we don’t have to there are wonderful foods to consume

sure very good I just want to add that you know we’re looking at a population of people that are inherently very unhealthy most of us have haven’t eaten a healthy diet since childhood a lot of people in America go to middle age develop high blood pressure diabetes high cholesterol overweight you know most of our population the vast majority 85% is overweight in other words what I’m saying right now is that it’s not good enough for these people it’s not good enough for our population to eat a diet that’s a little bit better or moderately better because they’ve already they’re already pretty sickly and going to suffer from these serious diseases if we don’t do something pretty aggressive to reverse the degener ative changes that have already occurred in their bodies meaning your bodies in other words it’s not good enough to just make moderate changes and to make improvements you really have to move towards nutritional Excellence to be afforded the opportunity from Modern nutritional studies and modern the modern the availability of modern nutritional science to live a long healthy life and not have cancer and not have get demented and not have a hemorrhagic or embolic stroke the point is we have this unique opportunity in human history because nutritional science has advanced that far and you have to move that Animal product off your plate so you have room to eat sufficiently of the high nutrient plant Foods right to be able to protect yourself against these diseases that are really seriously going to hurt us place you know so we have to really rethink what we’re doing and we have to make radical changes in the way we eat because then we get radical benefits you don’t get radical benefits from moderate changes and those are worth it

oh my colleagues have eloquently discussed the health benefits of a vegan diet so I’m going to close with a another kind of question which is longevity for what what is our life about and what are we doing kind of an interesting question so from that perspective to me from a spiritual perspective a vegan diet is the most appropriate diet yes it feeds the hungry it prevents animal cruely it protects the ecology it makes us healthy that’s pretty obvious right but more than that if you look at the great Traditions except one there is no spilling of blood and if we begin to understand the subtleties of the human Spirit spiritual levels and the subtle energetic channels when we fill them with death it blocks our spiritual unfoldment and if we are more than just animals here we may have a mission which is to wake up and what we eat affects our Consciousness our Consciousness affects our mind and our mind affects our actions there’s a connection okay and so what we eat is key for the evolution of the human species for the physical Evolution but also the spiritual Evolution and a vegan plant-based diet is best for the spiritual evolution of the planet as well as the ethical Evolution as well as the physical Evolution so when we take the whole picture from that perspective and we question what is our purpose in life which from my point of view is to know the Divine to dance with the divine then we want to eat in a way that helps us become superconductors of the Divine and death meat fish chicken and dairy block those channels and keep us from being our fullest human potential and from my point of view reach the awareness of why we were put on the planet to begin with

very good to go than
